Community Capacity Toolkit for BC First Nations Climate Strategy and Action Plan

The Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) and the UBC Centre for Climate Justice (CCJ) are seeking a researcher to work on a contract basis to support the implementation of the BC First Nations Climate Strategy and Action Plan (FNCSAP). The researcher will develop a Community Capacity Toolkit that reviews existing federal, provincial, and regional opportunities for climate certification training, clean energy programming, and government funding for climate initiatives, and analyzes these programmes to identify opportunities for BC First Nations in supporting their ongoing responses to the climate emergency.
