Climate Justice UBC

Climate Justice UBC is a student-led organization that works to tackle climate change and its root causes. The group advocates for government action on climate policy, political engagement, institutional climate leadership, environmental justice, and Indigenous sovereignty.


Climate Emergency Response

UBC Climate Emergency Response team, in collaboration with the Sustainability Hub, mobilizes the community around the urgent need for climate justice and acting in response to UBC’s Climate Emergency Declaration and Task Force Report.


Climate Solutions Research Collective

The Climate Solutions Research Collective is a pan-university initiative at UBC that fosters connections among climate researchers, groups, and initiatives. It encourages new collaborative research on climate change solutions.

Reuse-it!

Reuse-it! is a virtual online warehouse that allows current UBC-V employees to find and exchange items between departments. This can include furniture, office supplies, lab equipment, and more!


UBC Facilities

UBC Facilities oversees the lifecycle stewardship of buildings and public spaces on the Vancouver campus and supports the university’s broader sustainability commitments through its Sustainability and Furniture Reuse programs.


Zero Waste Market

The UBC Zero Waste Market in Vancouver resells used items from UBC faculties and departments through both online and in-person marketplaces, helping to divert reusable materials from disposal.
