Tim Linsell

About

Tim is a graduate student at the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs, specializing in issues surrounding resources, energy, and sustainability, and holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Southampton, UK. Before coming to UBC he worked as captain on board S/Y Argo a 112ft traditionally rigged sailing vessel circumnavigating the globe over a period of two yearsconducting study abroad and sail training programs for groups of undergraduate students. Latterly, he has also worked as an Arctic expedition manager in the Norwegian Arctic and Svalbard archipelago. Tim is broadly interested in investigating spaces for fostering diverse and equitable cooperation and collaboration in global climate governance.
