About

Previously having lived on the ancient homeland of the Lenni-Lenape people and the traditional lands of the Coast Miwok people (so-called New Jersey and part of the San Francisco Bay Area, respectively), Jack is a settler of Western European ancestry now residing on the traditional, ancestral, and stolen lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nation and working as Program Assistant for UBC’s Centre for Climate Justice. He is also the Co-Editor-in-Chief for the UBC Journal for Climate Justice. Jack holds a Bachelor’s in Geography and Sustainability, previously worked for UBC’s Sustainability Hub, and was a Climate and Nature Emergency Undergraduate Fellow with the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies. Apart from academics and work, Jack enjoys spending time with family and friends, making music, and watching Vancouver’s sunsets when weather permits.

As Administrative & Program Assistant, Jack is a core member of the CCJ staff supporting public engagement, programming, and ongoing research initiatives.
