Em Isaak is a queer settler graduate student at the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus working towards their MA in the IGS program. Their research centers on what 2SLGBTQ2IA+ inclusive bicycling communities look like within the Central Okanagan locale. The project will contemplate what it means “to queer” cycling through ethnography and arts-based methods. Outside of school, Em enjoys climbing, art and eating french fries.
