About

Connor holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Global Affairs from UBC where he specialized in resource, energy, and sustainability policy. He has a background in public health policy and communication, and his work has ranged from local to international projects analyzing the relationships between health, media systems, and our environment. At CCJ, Connor is building an international climate policy database that will inform research on climate policy trends of the early 2020s and their representation in the media.

Research

Connor’s work focuses on researching, building, and populating the Insight Grant climate policy database. The database looks at tabled or enacted legislation in a number of national and regional jurisdictions, and will be used to inform the work of an international team of researchers working through the grant. Finally, the database includes media coverage and social discourse surrounding climate-related policy in the regions of study.
