What if you found you’d acquired another self—an online double who seemed to be you but wasn’t you at all? In an era filled with conspiracy, disinformation, and digital distortion, what does it mean to be seen—but misrepresented and misunderstood? In this special virtual conversation, acclaimed author, intellectual, Centre for Climate Justice Co-Director and UBC professor Naomi Klein discussed her award-winning book, Doppelganger: A Trip into the Mirror World. This talk delved into shifting dynamics of identity, perception, and power—and what these changes reflect about our world.
